“The experience from Shruti Khazanchi”
I thought the program is sooooooooooooooooooo wonderful. I loved getting to know the students, they were so hardworking, dedicated and warm heart. I liked how there was a big group of students, usually 15 to 25, that made the lesson more fun.
I also liked having a structured lesson plan which we used for every session. The meetings in the morning before class was very helpful. Leah, our coodinator was fantastic! She was very helpful and polite. It was good to travel with her to the placement and back on the bus and have her in the classroom to translate. I am glad she was my coordinator.
Working with a small group of participants worked the best since it is a small classroom. Sometimes when there are not enough students because they had an exam. Over all, I absolutely loved the teaching experience! I will definitely do it again in the future.
