Your itinerary could look like this:

Day 1 – Arrival and Beach Time in Tarrafal

Arrive in Praia and drive to Tarrafal (approx. 1.5 hours). Once you arrive at the accommodation, check in and settle down.
 In the afternoon, visit Tarrafal Beach to relax and enjoy the ocean before returning to the centre for dinner.

Day 2 – Orientation and Cultural Introduction

Begin your day with an introduction to The Green Lion, its projects, house rules, setting expectations, health and safety advice, and document handling. Learn about local customs, do’s and don’ts.
 In the afternoon, visit local supermarkets and ATMs, explore the surroundings of the centre, and get introduced to the local kindergarten. Meet the children and school staff.
 In the evening, join your first Kriolu language lesson.

Day 3 – Community Projects & Language

Participate in the teaching project at the local kindergarten in the morning.
 In the afternoon, join the beautification or light construction project at the school.
 End the day with your second Kriolu language lesson.

Day 4 – Teaching & Beach Sports

Continue the teaching project at the kindergarten in the morning.

Day 5 – Market Visit & Cooking Class

Continue teaching at the kindergarten in the morning and work on school improvements in the afternoon.

Day 7 – Snorkelling & Campfire

Spend the morning snorkelling at the beach.

Day 8 – Lighthouse Hike

Day 9 – Projects & Beach Sports
