Hi Green Lion Team

I would like to express my gratitude to the Bali staff and the whole Green Lion team. At the beginning of my time here, I’m not going to lie I was a little scared and worried that I would not like it here and go home early. I arrived with my luggage missing and was the youngest participant at the time.

As days went on and I got to know the staff and make amazing friends this place shortly became home. Lena, Jay, Komang, Dwi, Rudy, Gita, Berlin, the cleaning crew, the chefs, and the rest of the staff were so amazing when it came to making me feel at home. Singing songs, playing the guitar, talking, making sure we have clean made beds every night, eating amazing meals, sitting around playing games, whatever it was they always welcomed everyone with open arms.

It’s truly special because you can tell that each of them does these things from the heart. They are such amazing people and I can’t thank them enough for everything they do!! As for the kids and teaching, I was so nervous as well because I had no idea what I was going to teach the kids or how to teach them. Though, as time went by I slowly bonded with each kid individually and I could not be more thankful for this experience. Each kid I made a special connection with as they are so sweet and so precious and are the sweetest souls I have ever met!! They will always hold a special place in my heart and I will never forget them ❤️.

When it came to traveling, it was so fun because I got to explore the island with my friends and learn the cool different spots around the island. There were so many unique places with breathtaking and beautiful scenery. I had the opportunity to go to some of the most exotic and once in a lifetime places and this program helped me discover these places as I would probably never think to travel to such places.

And finally, my friends who I’ve met here at Green Lion I’m so beyond happy for. I made life long friendships with so many people and I’m so blessed and happy to have gotten an experience, unlike anything I’ve had before. There so is so much to say though I would type forever. Simply, I am so happy and could not thank Green Lion enough for an amazing journey and sadly as my time here ends (I wish I could stay forever) I have made so many friendships and memories that I will NEVER forget. Thank you so much for this opportunity!
