Goan weather January, the days begin with early morning mist in the air, clear sunlight, clear skies, and the atmosphere filled with music, and the markets splashed in vibrant colours.
We were happy to receive participants in the renovation program. They began the week with an orientation day learning language, visiting the markets, and beaches, walking the local streets to soak in the atmosphere, tasting Indian food, and catching the ever colourful sunsets.
During the month, we were glad to renovate the exteriors of a senior citizen home for the underprivileged in Goa. The senior citizen home cares for and shelters 30 old aged women. The home receives help from good-hearted Goan citizens.
Our participants were a great source of value to this home, their hearts were filled with joy to see their garden fresh with fresh new paints.

The paint job went smoothly. I think we produced good results with proper support and planning. I was able to finish it safely by taking more breaks than usual due to the quick work. It’s refreshing to finish painting diligently and using the tools around me. The clean environment made me feel refreshed.Our coordinator was easy to understand, so we were able to enjoy the activities. HeΒ supported speed control for fast work processing. He was also kind. I want to say thank you again for being able to spend precious time with you.
I experienced an environment that changed little by little. The lighted garden was nice to see. And I learned to be considerate.
