Upon my arrival in Cambodia, I was greeted at the airport and set off on my journey to the Blue House guest house where I was met by the friendly and lovely staff who made me feel very welcome.
Over my time here I have helped with many different tasks, including bricklaying, digging, cement mixing, brick soiling, and painting. We get extremely muddy and wet, which all adds to the fun.
I also got the chance to spend some time with the children at Greenway Primary School playing skip rope singing and dancing.
The project at Greenway School is ongoing and I look forward to coming back in the near future. It’s been a pleasure working here with all the other participants, and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of doing it.
