The past 3 weeks have been absolutely magical. I have seen the classroom I helped to build start from a small brick foundation into a learning environment with a roof. I am so grateful to be part of this experience. It is a very different working environment to what I’m used to. Being here has deeply humbled me and made me appreciate the things I have. I’ve met some truly beautiful people from the volunteers coming from all parts of the world to the locals who love seeing new people and of course, the staff who made this all happen.
I was originally here for a week but quickly fell in love and extended my stay. I’m so glad I did. Tigman is home, I will be back. It is goodbye for now, but I can’t wait to come back to this beautiful village.
