Green Lion was the best start of my trip I could have asked for. All the people from Green Lion were super helpful and so incredibly kind. They truly give you the feeling that you have a new, Sri Lankan family.
I did the teaching monks and special needs program. Two very different projects, but both a unique experience for which I’m very grateful. Green Lion arranged everything very well and you really got to look inside the community and see the local culture while putting in the effort to help where you’re able to.
When I travel to Sri Lanka again, I will definitely visit Green Lion and the monks. Thanks so much to Green Lion for these unforgettable four weeks.
