Spreading Smiles: Humanitarian Clowns Visit Greenway School in Cambodia

The Green Lion
In March 2025, our Greenway School in Samraong, Cambodia was filled with laughter, wide eyes, and the sound of pure joy β all thanks to a very special visit from the Humanitarian Clowns from Australia.
This vibrant group arrived with one beautiful mission: to spread happiness. Dressed in colorful costumes and armed with red noses, juggling balls, and balloon animals, they brought their playful energy not only to our Greenway students but also to children at nearby government schools.
Their visit included interactive clown performances and fun-filled workshops, where local kids got to try their hand at juggling, balloon twisting, and other circus-style arts. For many of the children, this was a completely new and magical experience β one that sparked curiosity, creativity, and, most importantly, endless smiles.
While the performances were filled with laughter, the heart of the visit was something even more meaningful: connection. The Humanitarian Clowns created moments of joy that transcended language and cultural barriers, reminding us all of the simple power of play and presence.
Weβre incredibly grateful for their time, energy, and the unforgettable joy they brought to our schools. It’s visits like these that make our community feel a little brighter, a little closer, and a lot more cheerful.
