Helping out to Save Wildlife in Australia
August 2, 2019
The Green Lion
The Green Lion participants of our wildlife project in Australia play an astonishing role in helping the wildlife park on their day-to-day tasks. Providing a refuge for rehabilitated but un-releasable injured and orphaned animals and assisting rangers in mending fences and maintaining enclosures are a few tasks to be mentioned. By joining this program, participants get the opportunity to make a contribution to help and care for the animals and as well as gain knowledge of wildlife while making new friends.
βThis experience has definitely been the best of my life. The wildlife park and the people are so amazing and kind. I had a lot of expectations before coming here, and this trip has met every single one of those experiences.β – Leah M. Hinsley
βThis has been one of the best things I have done. Everything was put together so well. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life. Looking forward to using what I learned & experienced for my future. This is a great program that I would suggest to anyone.β – Kayla Stahi
βThis trip went beyond anything I couldβve imagined. Every day I was at the project, I learned and experienced something new. Before I went on this trip I had no idea what I wanted to do in my life. Thanks to this experience, I now have an idea of what a career in animal science is like and I honestly wouldnβt mind doing this work for the rest of my life. Every single person I met on this trip was amazing. The coordinators, the rangers have been so kind and helpful. Each ranger I worked with thought me about the animals, whether I was feeding them or cleaning their enclosures.β – Aliyah Rogers
βI came to Australia expecting to have new experiences, but Iβm leaving with much more. I am leaving with new friends and a newfound love for this Wildlife Park. The rangers and participants have made this trip unforgettable. The animals are in extremely good hands.β – Morgan
