Being a majority Hindu society, Nepal doesn’t really feel the joy and the excitement of the “season of holidays”. However, Christmas vibes are not a surprise for us at The Green Lion Nepal. Our participants were having mixed feelings about having to spend this special season far away from their comfort zones. So, we planned to celebrate this Christmas at our place hoping to bring smiles to their faces and to make them feel at home.

As the day came nearer, the Christmas ornaments and the baubles were made ready, all the participants were more than delighted to celebrate the festival in the different culture of Nepal. Our team and the participants joined hand together to make it more cheerful and illuminating. The setting sun brought the joy of bonfire in the chilly night of December. All the participants and staff were entailed with the warmth and brightness of the festive vibes. The special cuisines were prepared. The barbecue had got all of us closer.

The fun filled sound of Christmas songs were played in the background. The visuals of synchronizing body movements could be seen. The joy of music was more enriched with the combination of typical Nepali songs and the dancing. The participants had a great fun learning Nepali dance moves.

The day couldn’t be more happier as all of us enjoyed the food and finally the secret Santa made the eve more cheerful spreading the love and happiness to everyone.
