Lovina, at first sight, it seems very calm. It’s a place, where everyone knows everyone. I stay here for 5 months. Only after 4 weeks here, you can make friends so easily. The local people always want to get in contact, speak with you, learn from you and have fun together. Whenever you need help, I promise you, there would be so many people by your side to make you feel comfortable.

All these values are mirrored in the Green Lion Family. Yes, Family! There is Mama Komang. Whenever you have questions or recommendations or whatever, you can go to her and she will just flick with her fingers and everything is done in just one second. Also, the cooks are for me like my mothers, because whenever I feel sad, they can conjure a smile on my face and make me happy.

Also if you want to learn Indonesian, the cooks will definitely help you. When going to the program, the coordinators and the drivers are always on time and in a good mood. In every car, with every driver, you can feel safe, even if the condition of the road is not so good.

My program is teaching and I am really happy that I have chosen to teach children. The kids are so cute. If they smile, I have to smile too. I’ve never met so grateful kids before. They really want to learn English and they always try their best. When we arrive back in The Green Lion after work, our room is always in good condition, the smell is good, the room and the bathroom are clean. The cleaners also are so friendly and whenever there is a problem, they solve it as fast as they can.

Like my kids, I am also so thankful, that I have the opportunity to live together with The Green Lion Team and get so many experiences every single day. For me, Lovina will always be like my second home and will always have a special place in my heart.
