I have spent three weeks in Laos joining the childcare program and It has been one of the experiences that have enriches me the most. I am used to travelling on my own and to an international environment, but I had never assisted and I had never had experiences with Kids before Laos. Even though my lack of experience , It came so easy to have class with kids due to the helpful coordinator and to the warm smiles and hugs of the children.

I found really useful preparing the lessons and organising the games to play with them. During the day we had to feed them and to help them to get dry at shower time. I have improved my skills in braiding too!! During the weekends you have the possibility of travelling around and I have enjoyed a lot my trips with the other participants and the transport was so easy to organise thanks to the efficiency of the local staff. The food was great, tasty, healthy and so on!!! The accommodation was good and there’s cleaning once a week. Laos is a very safe country and its population is extremely kind, smiley and friendly. There isn’t a thing that I haven’t enjoyed during my experience and I will bring in my heart all the people and kids that I have met.
