“THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING”

 

Christmas is the most celebrated holiday in the Philippines as the majority of the population is Catholic. Santa Claus, caroling, giving gifts and cards is a big thing during this season.

The Green Lion staff organized for the second time, a Christmas Gift Giving to make the kids feel the essence of Christmas, bring joy and see smiles on the kids’ faces.

12th of December was the day where the TGL staff and participants became Santa for 3 nursery schools and 5 different public schools with the total of 1,100 kids. A lot of candies, chocolates, cookies, toys for boys and different accessories for the girls were inside their loot baggies.

We made a short program where participants introduced their names; selected kids got special presents for answering some questions about Christmas. And to end our program the TGL staff and participants performed a dance (jingle bells) for the kids.

We want to say thank you to our previous and present participant’s for the help and support for
the success of the Gift Giving 2019.
