It’s that time of the year where you will find everyone setting up Christmas trees, decoration and prepping themselves up for the festive season. And so is the case in The Green Lion house as well. And so with this the participants lit up the projects as well. We had participants at the Old Age home, where they spent some wonderful times with the old people.

Participants taught the children in the kindergarten and at The Green Lion School. With the beginning of the Christmas holidays the number of children at the school increased. Our participants taught the children Christmas carols with the cheer to the Christmas festival. Some participants worked at the Animal Shelter taking care of the animals being treated there.

The afternoons were spent at the Migrant outreach project where the participants did a lot of things, they studied with the children and they prepared them for the Christmas program, they taught the children songs and danced with them. And a Special Christmas Program was organized for the children where the children performed in front of other children, their parents and our participants.

The children were excited about the celebration and practiced hard with the participants. Children and participants were so happy to be a part of this day which was full of singing, dancing, and of course the treats. The celebration was a glamorous moment for everyone and the smiles and laughs all the way proved that we are actually making a difference in their lives.
