The Green Lion
Hello. My name is Britt Klement. I spent 3 unexpected weeks in the Thai art studio. I did so many things I would never do on my own at first I was not sure If I really could do things like that but Talitha the coordinator taught me that it is all about being creative and having fun with the things that we were making and the people around us putting no standards and expectations. Like painting the contemporary Thai way.
Traditional Thai pottery, meeting the real Thailand in my eyes. You really missing out if you havenβt seen The North Eastern part, we even went to the boarders on a boat to the Friendship Bridge between Laos and Thailand which was an amazing view while thinking about the past. Visiting the historical museum about pottery and other open air museums even temples, cause thatβs where the most art happens. Unexpectedly, I really liked it though.
The food was amazing, We had one night to make my own food as we havenβt been home for 2 months. Very thoughtful! The accommodation was very good, nicely air conditioned rooms. Everybody was so friendly and especially Talitha. I can say I will have a new friend that I made that will stay forever. I might even go back on my next holiday!
