Khmer New Year, also known as Choul Chnam Thmey, is one of the most significant holidays in Cambodia, celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. It marks the beginning of the traditional lunar calendar year and usually falls in mid-April, coinciding with the end of the dry season and the start of the harvest season. This vibrant festival lasts for three days, with each day holding its own unique customs and traditions.
Our Cambodia team celebrated the new year at our Greenway School in Samraong along with the students, staff, andΒ participants.
